A lifetime around fireplaces. Experience built from the ground up.
My connection to the fireplace industry started with my father. After moving from England to America, he found his career in the trade—and I grew up around it. As a kid, I made up pretend orders and memorized part numbers. At 16, I began working in the industry professionally.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked as a service technician, managed a 60,000-square-foot distribution warehouse, handled warranties and returns, and provided technical support and sales assistance to fireplace dealers across four states. I also helped set up product displays and dealer expos and spent four years as Director of Operations for a fireplace company.
Alongside that work, I spent evenings servicing fireplaces for several DFW fireplace companies. Those service calls took me into homes from University Park and Highland Park to Southlake, Trophy Club, Frisco, and Prosper. Working directly with homeowners gave me experience with both the equipment and the questions people have about using it.
In 2020, I founded Fireside Escapes, a family-owned and operated business built around three priorities: honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and a commitment to safety.
